dvd cases? i need a free program that can create dvd cases and save them as image files. Raven Crystal Moon replied: "The dvds are for dvd players only. I believe that you meant to say was CDRS. CDRS means computer disk recording system. Which CDRS are all round like the dvds and the cds. But it is only the CDRS is the round computer disk that records all images and internet music as well as etc from the computer's cd drive only.
But you could try and place the CDR within the computer cd drive and try removing the images gradually.

Do the DVD cases in Japan look different from the ones commonly used in the US? I bought a Japanese DVD awhile ago and the DVD case was clear plastic. It was totally different from the usual black opaque DVD cases we have in the US. Anyone have a clue? Carl_the_Truth replied: "I've never seen a clear one.Most are just like the ones here."

Rental shops like Tsutaya and some second-hand retailers often use smaller clear plastic cases." How do you get sticky stuff off DVD cases? Sometimes on DVD cases there will be a sticker talkign about a discount or something but when you take it off, a lot of the time there will be a frustrating under-layer or sticky stuff that makes all the DVDs stick to it.
Does anybody know an easy way to remove this? Ive already tried nail polish remover and detergent and scrubbing it. patrickryanlewis replied: "Rubbing alcohol and a lint free cloth"
blessed_thang replied: "I use silicon spray, like WD-40, sparingly. Nail polish remover will melt plastic (acetone)."

gimpalomg replied: "I use peanut butter jars (the flexible plastic type) in my shop. I have found standard paint thinner removes the adhesive best. It works beautifully on just about anything you care to use it on. If you plan to keep the cases in the house the odor may be of a concern to you but soap and water will get rid of that immediately.
BTW, it works nicely to remove the adhesive used on those miserable price tags as well. Just don't try to use it on a paper product. It will soak into porous materials."

Edw. M replied: "Try hand lotion, suntan lotion or baby oil. Just rub a little on and wait maybe 3 mins. Then just wipe it off easily. It also works for bumpersticker goo. I've used this technique for years."

Price doesn't really matter, since cases are fairly cheap. But it has to be a US retailer, as I don't feel like importing something like cases.

I want to have the cases so that when I burn TV shows onto discs a whole season can fit in one case (like they do when they sell them). Ken replied: "Should be no problem getting them. Many stores have them for sale."
